This Bomma Soap 5 Chandelier was inspired by the varied colors, transparency and continuously changing shapes – the characteristic features of soap bubbles. When lighted, the metallic sheen of its surface transforms to iridescent and translucent, exposing its crystal character. The entire Soap collection is produced by Bomma using the technique of hand-blowing without a form. This means, that every Soap droplet is unique in its shape.
The seemingly perfect droplet of molten glass is given a unique shape, as well as a unique color spectrum. Among Bomma's Soap Collection’s main advantages are the options to create impressive compositions from a larger number of individual light fixtures or combining their color schemes.

Ota Svoboda
Ota Svoboda, a talented designer with a background from the Glass School in Nový Bor, began his career as part of the design duo Born in Bor. In 2013, he joined Bomma, where his exceptional skill and creative vision quickly elevated him to the role of head of product development and the key force behind new design innovations. Svoboda's approach merges artistic creativity with deep expertise in glass craftsmanship and technological advancements. At Bomma, he has played a crucial role in the technological evolution of each collection, ensuring that the designs push the boundaries of contemporary glassmaking. Svoboda’s work is known for its seamless blend of traditional techniques and modern aesthetics, making him a central figure in Bomma’s success and a standout talent in the world of glass design.
