The WOUD Rombo Rug series, conceived by Studio MLR, is a testament to the harmonious interplay of natural materials. The series draws its name from the distinctive rhombi patterns formed by its woven construction, a nod to classic geometric precision.

The design is accentuated by the contrasting linear borders at each end, framing the intricate rhombi and creating an interplay of colours and shapes. This thoughtful design element lends a sleek, contemporary edge to the traditional robustness of the woven rug.

STUDIO MLR, helmed by the adept Marie-Louise Rosholm, brings three decades of design insight to the Rombo Rug. With stints in Milan and now Copenhagen, Rosholm’s deep textile expertise and attention to detail shine through in this collection. Rooted in the Scandinavian design ethos, her work embodies the balance of form, function, and beauty, with a particular emphasis on colour and materiality that is evident in the Rombo series.
