Presenting the Grid Sofa by Petite Friture: Redefining Versatility and Comfort

In 2015, the design studio Pool conceived the Grid Sofa for Petite Friture, in tribute to the Bauhaus style and the art of graphic design. By 2016, the Grid had evolved from a singular daybed into a fully modular system that can adapt to a multitude of spaces and preferences.

At the heart of the Grid collection are the basic modules: a simple armchair, a corner armchair, a stool, and a coffee table. These elements can be paired with the two-seater sofa to craft a multitude of configurations to suit your every desire. Be it a three-seater sofa, a corner sofa, or a loveseat, the Grid collection can be effortlessly transformed through a simple attachment system.

Each element within the Grid collection retains the identity of the original daybed. The design comprises a strapped wooden structure, supported by a black tubular steel leg, and topped with geometrically patterned square or round fabric or leather cushions.

The Grid Sofa, and by extension, the Grid collection, is designed for everyday life. Its modular design allows for an array of configurations, ensuring comfort and adaptability, whether in a small apartment or a large living room. This is a piece that pays homage to timeless Bauhaus design, while seamlessly fitting into the modern lifestyle.

What is the estimated delivery time?

Delivery times are affected by stock availability, shipping method and destination country.
Approximate delivery time for items in stock is 1-14 days, for non-stock items: 5-90 days.

Delivery times vary depending on the manufacturer. For each item, you can find the estimated delivery time on its product page. Please note that these timelines are provided by our suppliers and are only estimates. While we always aim to meet them, Luminesy cannot be held responsible for delays or any costs that may result from such delays.

When you receive your order, please check it immediately for any damage and report it back to us within 48 hours, so in the unlikely case it has been damaged during shipping, we can claim compensation and send you a replacement.

For some particularly large or bulky items that exceed regular shipping size limits, the precise shipping cost can be harder to estimate in advance. These orders are shipped with a special carrier, depending on the destination. If we notice that the actual shipping cost significantly exceeds the initially estimated cost shown at checkout, we may need to ask for an additional fee.
