LZF Agatha Large Pendant Light - THE DRAMATIC LAMP

With an arresting and dramatic demeanour, the LZF Agatha Large Pendant Light fills the room with her ambient glow and appealing body. Designed by Luis Eslava, Agatha’s elegant interlacing whorls of handmade wood veneer strips spring concentrically from its centre, their mass blossoming and flourishing.

The complex geometry created from the thin veneer strips on the Agatha Large pendant light from LZF makes this seemingly simple concept into a highly practical and at the same time good-looking pendant light. Due to the positioning of the veneer strips, the Agatha pendant light has a slightly different look from every angle, amplified by the fact that when the veneer strips overlap, they make the light darker or lighter.

Inspired by the celebrated English writer Agatha Christie (fittingly, the light’s structure somewhat resembles the author’s wavy coiffure), the Agatha lamp is sculptural, physical and versatile. Available as a small or large suspension lamp and as a suspension ball, Agatha’s shape alters to some degree —depending upon the angle from which it is viewed— so teasing and titillating the viewer.
